practices: Faces, exchanges, and dreams.
The men’s and the women’s clothes were marked by a variety of tastes
and trends. Being associated with good taste and manners, but also social
class he belonged to the individual, clothing Kishinev experienced a remarkable
evolution, being adapted to everyday lifestyle, it becomes more practical,
easier and more convenient. The Chisinau’s fashion during the researched
period, have been under the influence of French fashion items, English or
Russian. Kishinev clothing changed depending on financial situation, the
mentality of the individual or community which he belonged to and where
it operated daily. Traditional costumes are abandoned in everyday life, being
replaced with European clothes, bearing fingerprints spirit that lent them.
The fashion picture restoration of the inhabitants of Chisinau, in the
period of 1900-1918 is made possible by advertising periodical press time.
