School of V. Gutor held first Romanian music concert, which was preceded
by a lecture about Romanian song. During this period worked the Harmony
Society who join the Russian Musical Society.
Many famous singers and performers of the time are invited to Moldova
from Romania or other European countries. Also, the musical revival of
Chisinau have contributed troops to numerous tours such as Italian, Russian,
Romanian, Ukrainian. In parallel, different groups of musicians performed
in Chisinau, who sang at weddings and cumătrii with a varied repertoire of
Romanian folk. In the early twentieth century in Chisinau is an entire host
of musicians, such as: Costache Marin (1840-1911), Gheorghe Heraru (1853-
1920) etc.
As the population of Chisinau entertainment, outside reading and music,
are the theater and cinema. Sources of time prove the existence of a very
varied repertoire in terms of topics presented, but Genres: drama, comedy,
triller, movies historical data, etc.
In Chisinau, like in other cities of Europe, people were passionate by art and
their valuable collections which will form later the basis of private museums.
Visiting the museum enters into the daily lives of inhabitants, becoming
one of the ways to organize leisure time, but also an opportunity to enrich
their knowledge about the local traditions. This is proved by the increasing
number of visitors. The fact that Chisinau is a true museum is supported
by the existence of Zemstvo Museum, Museum of History (created by the
province of Bessarabia Scientific Archives, author Ion Halippa) Church and
Museum (founded in 1906 by the History and Archaeological Society Church
of Bessarabia) , which had three departments: coins, old books and vestments.

The Chisinau’s society established in its early twentieth century, life rules,
inherited from previous generations and filled with new features, as a result
of socio-political and cultural context specific to the period.
Kishinev mores were grounded in family, child education received from
parents, which then had to rely on throughout his life. Attending the school,
whose fundamental role is the knowledge accumulation outside, was to
strengthen the moral principles of life, achieved family and help the individual
