En Medicinsk Teknol<strong>og</strong>ivurdering (537) fra det engelske National Health Service (NHS) har<br />

evalueret langtidseffekten <strong>af</strong> k<strong>og</strong>nitiv adfærdsterapi fra otte kliniske studier sammenlignet med<br />

andre terapiformer. Alle deltagere i de otte rand<strong>om</strong>iserede, kontrollerede studier <strong>af</strong> k<strong>og</strong>nitiv<br />

adfærdsterapi for angstlidelser (herunder <strong>PTSD</strong>) fra 1985-2001 blev forsøgt kontaktet mhp.<br />

follow-up interviews vedrørende en række outc<strong>om</strong>e 2-14 år efter indgåelse i det oprindelige<br />

studie. Follow-up deltagernes forbrug <strong>af</strong> ressourcer fra sundhedsvæsenet blev indsamlet <strong>og</strong><br />

registreret 69 , hhv. fra 2 år op til deltagelse i det oprindelige studie <strong>og</strong> fra 2 år op til follow-up<br />

studiet påbegyndtes. På baggrund <strong>af</strong> disse data var det muligt at foretage en cost-effectiveness<br />

analyse.<br />
