Fern M. Struckman<br />

Mrs. Fern M. STRUCKMAN, 66, 529 East 11th street, died at 8:30 a.m. today at the<br />

Miller Nursing home here. She was born Sept. 29, 1892 and was a member of the Rochester<br />

E.U.B. church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home here.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday.<br />

Fern M. Struckman<br />

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for<br />

Mrs. Fern M. STRUCKMAN, 66, who died of a coronary occlusion Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the<br />

Miller nursing home here. She resided at 529 East 11th street.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Kenneth FOULKE will officiate and burial will be at the Citizens cemetery<br />

here. Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />

Mrs. Struckman had been employed as a telephone operator at the Rochester Telephone<br />

company and prior to that with her husband had operated Struckman’s Grocery at the corner of<br />

Second and Main streets. Her husband, William [STRUCKMAN], died on Dec. 25, 1932.<br />

Born Sept. 20, 1892, in Carroll county, she was the daughter of James and Viola<br />

PETERSON SNYDER. She was a member of the Rochester E.U.B. church and had resided in<br />

Rochester the past 52 years.<br />

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude WHITE, Plymouth, and Mrs. Stella HELVIE,<br />

Ovid, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.<br />

Walter Bybee<br />

Mrs. Ed LOWE, East 18th street, has been informed of the death of her brother, Walter<br />

BYBEE, in Potowin hospital, Niles, Mich. Mr. Bybee, 73, a resident of South Borden, Mich., was<br />

visiting friends in Niles when he became ill June 19 and died last Thursday.<br />

Funeral services and burial were conducted in Niles.<br />

Mr. Bybee was born Nov. 23, 1885 in Newcastle township, the son of Wallace and Ella<br />

HAIMBAUGH BYBEE.<br />

Surviving besides Mrs. Lowe are the widow, Eva [BYBEE]; two sons, Orval [BYBEE],<br />

South Borden, and Larry [BYBEE], of Michigan; two married daughters, Ruth and Velma<br />

[BYBEE], Niles; Melvin [BYBEE], Huron, O., and Ernest [BYBEE], of near St. Marie, Mich.<br />

Wednesday, July 1, <strong>1959</strong><br />

Anna Hoover<br />

Rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Twelve Mile E.U.B. church for Mrs. Anna<br />

HOOVER, 75, Twelve Mile, who died in a Logansport hospital about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. She<br />

was the aunt of Mrs. Goldys LEAVELL, Rochester.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Russell WILBUR will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Mt.<br />

Carmel cemetery. Friends may call at the Ditmire funeral home in <strong>Fulton</strong>.<br />

Mrs. Hoover ws a native of Cass county. Surviving besides Mrs. Leavell are a halfbrother,<br />

three half-sisters and several nieces and nephews.
