Hugh Wiseley<br />
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Harrison chapel at Kewanna for Hugh<br />
WISELEY, 74, former <strong>Fulton</strong> county resident who died Wednesday morning at his home in Leon,<br />
Ia.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Charles W. COOK will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the Kewanna<br />
I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after Saturday noon at the Harrison funeral home in<br />
Kewanna.<br />
Mr. Wiseley was born April 8, 1885, in Pulaski county and moved to <strong>Fulton</strong> county as a<br />
young boy. He was the son of Charles and Mary CALVIN WISELEY. He was a member of the<br />
Methodist church.<br />
Surviving are three sons, Floyd and Carl [WISELEY], both of Decatur, Ia.; and John<br />
[WISELEY], address unknown; five grandchildren; one brother, Clifford [WISELEY], Peru; four<br />
and [sic] Mrs. Madge URBIN, both of Kewanna; Mrs. Gertrude LAMBORN, Plymouth and Mrs.<br />
Marie MESSMAN, Rochester.<br />
Saturday, August 22, <strong>1959</strong><br />
Minnie Zehner<br />
Mrs. Minnie ZEHNER, 79, died Friday at 1 p.m. in her home five miles northwest of<br />
Argos.<br />
Born Jan. 27, 1880, near Argos, she was the daughter of Henry and Caroline HUFF<br />
SNYDER and had lived all her life in Marshall county. She was married Dec. 25, 1906, to Lester<br />
ZEHNER, who survives. She was a member of the Methodist church.<br />
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Retha LONG, Mrs. Mary JACOBS and Mrs.<br />
Elnora LACKEY, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Kenneth MYERS; two great-grandchildren and<br />
three brothers, Russell SNYDER, Holtville, Cal.; Ben SNYDER, Argos, and Drew SNYDER,<br />
Corpus Christi, Texas.<br />
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Umbaugh funeral home with the Rev.<br />
Ernest TREBER of Dunkirk officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Church of the Brethren<br />
cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />
Charles D. Edgington<br />
Charles David EDGINGTON, 56, died at 8:30 a.m. today in Woodlawn hospital, shortly<br />
after his admission there. He resided at 505 Madison street.<br />
Mr. Edgington had been in failing health since suffering a stroke in March, 1957, but had<br />
been working daily at Shultz Body Shop. He was preparing to go to work this morning when he<br />
suffered a severe stroke at 7 o’clock.<br />
Born April 15, 1903, in Manchester, O., he was the son of Nelson and Blanche<br />
EDGINGTON. He had resided in this community since 1943, moving here from Manchester, O.<br />
He was married Nov. 23, 1942, in Chicago and his wife, Mildred [EDGINGTON], survives.<br />
Also surviving are two daughters, Linda Kay [EDGINGTON], at home, and Patricia<br />
[EDGINGTON], Cincinnati; two sisters; one brother and nine grandchildren.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Zimmerman Brothers funeral home is in charge of funeral arrangements, which are<br />
incomplete.
