living room of the Flohr home on East Rochester street in Akron.
The boy, a member of the U.S. Navy, shot himself in the right temple with a .32 caliber
Flohr left the living room for his bedroom. The mother was telling the sheriff that the
youth had been mentally distressed of late when the sound of the automatic was heard.
Dr. Carson McGUIRE, deputy coroner, pronounced the youth dead of a self-inflicted
wound. Time of death was set at 2:05 a.m.
