Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Robert (Mary Jane) Van DUYNE and Mrs. Chauncey<br />

(Hannah) OREN, both of Rochester and Mrs. Jackson (Martha) ROYNON, Chicago; six nephews,<br />

Emerson ZIMMERMAN and Valentine ZIMMERMAN III, both of Bakersfield, Cal; Leo D.<br />

ZIMMERMAN, Chicago and Major, Herbert and James ZIMMERMAN, all of Rochester.<br />

Preceding him in death were the brother, Leo George [ZIMMERMAN], and two sisters,<br />

Mrs. Howard HOOD, in 1950, and Mrs. Martha GINTHER, in <strong>1959</strong>.<br />

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Father Charles A. J. SCHOLL of the Lake Village parish, former pastor of the St. Joseph<br />

church here, will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the<br />

funeral home after noon Friday.<br />

Grace M. Williams<br />

Mrs. Grace M. WILLIAMS, 74, Star City, a native of Kewanna, died Wednesday<br />

afternoon at the Little Company of Mary hospital at San Pierre, where she had been a patient since<br />

May 10. Born July 12, 1884, at Kewanna, she was the daughter of Norman and Clara WALKER<br />

SLICK. She was married to Schuyler WILLIAMS, was a member of the Kewanna Baptist church.<br />

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen DePOY and Mrs. Irene STOCK, both of Star<br />

City; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lela HUDKINS, Rochester.<br />

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Fry and Lange funeral home at Winamac.<br />

Burial will be in the Star City I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />

Frank Alexander<br />

Frank B. ALEXANDER, 67, 531 East Eighth street, a retired farmer, died at 6:40 a.m.<br />

today at his home after an illness of six years. Mr. Alexander had farmed in Richland township<br />

before retiring and moving to Rochester.<br />

Born Oct. 27, 1891 in Tipton county, he was the son of Australia and Jessie DABNEY<br />

ALEXANDER. On March 27, 1943, he was married in Rochester to Meriam VAWTER, who<br />

died July 31, 1946. Mr. Alexander was a mamber of the Rochester Church of God.<br />

Surviving are the mother, a sister, Mrs. Paul COOPER, and a brother, William<br />

[ALEXANDER], all of Elkhart, and several nieces and nephews.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rochester Church of God with the Rev. Daniel<br />

SLAYBAUGH and the Rev. C. J. MOWRER officiating. Burial will be in the local I.O.O.F.<br />

cemetery. <strong>The</strong> Foster & Good funeral home is in charge of services.<br />

Friends may call at the residence after 10 a.m. Saturday and until noon Sunday. <strong>The</strong><br />

body will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. Sunday.<br />
