Tina Sissel<br />

Mrs. Tina SISSEL, 75, died Wednesday at 4:50 p.m. in Woodlawn hospital. She resided<br />

at 1401 Elm street and had been seriously ill for two days.<br />

Born April 2, 1883, at Culver, she moved to Rochester 15 years ago from Akron. Her<br />

parents were Aaron and Jane ROBBINS JONES. Her marriage was at Culver April 2, 1902, to<br />

Melvin SISSEL, who preceded her in death.<br />

Mrs. Sissel was a member of the Rochester E.U.B. church.<br />

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Ann) BURKETT, Akron; Mrs. Edwin<br />

(Myrtle) LUSK, Osage, Ia.; Mrs. William (Loretta) OELS, Hariet, N.J., and Mrs. Carlisle (Eileen)<br />

GUNTHER, Charles City, Ia.; two sons, Mahlon and Rolin [SISSEL], both of Austin, Minn;<br />

thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anna MATTINGLEY, St.<br />

Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Lula MILLER, Cortez, Fla., and Mrs Lena LAVO, South Bend; three<br />

brothers, Jesse JONES,South Bend, Willard JONES, Lafayette, and Sheridan JONES, St.<br />

Petersburg, Fla. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.<br />

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Athens E.U.B. church with the Rev.<br />

Wayne JOHNSON officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope cemetery at Athens. Friends may<br />

call at the Sheetz fneral home in Akron after 7 p.m. today until noon Saturday, when the body will<br />

be taken to the church to lie in state an hour prior to the services.<br />

Frances K. Clymer<br />

Mrs. Frances K. CLYMER, 92, Fort Wayne, died in that city at 10:45 p.m. CST Tuesday<br />

after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Clymer had lived in Fort Wayne for the last 40 years and<br />

was known in this area.<br />

She was born in Lancaster, O., the daughter of John and Susanne FLOOD KING. She<br />

was a member of the First Christian Science church of Fort Wayne.<br />

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Estelle CROSS, Fort Wayne, eight grandchildren and twentyone<br />

great-grandchildren.<br />

Funeral services will be conducted by Mr. Gordon BROWN at 9:30 a.m. CST Friday at<br />

the Klaehn funeral home, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park cemetery in<br />

that city. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. CST Thursday.<br />

Cecil Woodcox<br />

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. EST at the Methodist church in Auburn for<br />

Cecil C. WOODCOX, 48, manager of the Auburn elevator, who died at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Fort<br />

Wayne Memorial hospital.<br />

Burial will be in the Auburn cemetery. Friends may call at the Yearick, funeral home in<br />

Auburn until noon Saturday, when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state two hours<br />

before last rites.<br />

Mr. Woodcox was the son of Ray WOODCOX, 613 East Ninth street and the late Orpha<br />

ANDERSON WOODCOX, who died in 1916. Death came after a two-week illness and was<br />

attributed to uremic poisoning contracted from flu.<br />

Born west of Rochester, Oct. 26, 1910, Mr. Woodcox was a graduate of Plymouth high<br />

school and was employed by the <strong>Public</strong> Service Company of Indiana at Plymouth for 11 years.<br />

He moved to Auburn 13 years ago. His marriage was on July 3, 1936 at Plymouth to Bertha<br />

PERRY of that city. He was a member of the Auburn Methodist church and Auburn Masonic
