Mary Meredith<br />
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Mary HARRISON MEREDITH in<br />
Bartow, Fla. She had lived in Rochester and vicinity for eight years before moving to Bartow.<br />
Mrs. Meredith died Dec. 18. Funeral services were held last Sunday at Fort Meade, Fla.<br />
Among the survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Grace ROBERTSON, Bartow; two grandsons;<br />
a great-grandson and three nephews of Rochester, Otto, Hugh and Frank MILLER.<br />
Mearl L. Feichter<br />
Mearl L. FEICHTER, 75, R.R. 2, Bourbon, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Forest<br />
PFEIFFER, R.R. 3, Rochester, at 7 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of six months.<br />
Born in Marshall county in July of 1884, he had lived in the Bourbon community all his<br />
life. His parents were George and Flora FEICHTER. He was married in 1942 to Eleanor<br />
CLINGENPEEL, who died in 1956. Mr. Feichter was a retired farmer.<br />
Surviving besides Mrs. Pfeiffer are two brothers, Harry [FEICHTER] of Bourbon and<br />
Ora [FEICHTER] of South Bend.<br />
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Robbins funeral home at Bourbon with the Rav.<br />
A. T. MORRIS officiating. Burial will be in the Parks cemetery at Bourbon. Friends may call at<br />
the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />

David H. Hizer<br />
Funeral rites for David Harvey HIZER, 78, formerly of Grass Creek, were conducted this<br />
morning at the Fisher funeral home in Logansport. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Kenneth OVERMYER officiated<br />
and burial was in the Grass Creek cemetery.<br />
Mr. Hizer, a retired farmer who lived in a Logansport hotel, died at 11:45 p.m.<br />
Wednesday at the St. Joseph’s hospital in Logansport. He had been ill three weeks.<br />
Born May 4, 1881 in Futon county, he was the son of Henry H. and Mary Van METER<br />
HIZER.<br />
Surviving are a son, David [HIZER], Jr., Logansport; a daughter, Mrs. Charles<br />
HENDRICKSON, Flora; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ida JONES, Grass Creek; Mrs.<br />
Eva HUDKINS, Kewanna, and Mrs. Cora CLAYBAUGH, Chicago, and two brothers, Harry<br />
[HIZER], Indianapolis, and Sherman [HIZER], Springfield, O.
