Plymouth, Ind. (UPI) -- George J. ROY, 88, Bourbon, was killed early today when his car<br />
rammed into a truck on U.S. 30 about 10 miles southeast of here.<br />
State Police said Roy’s car crossed over the center dividing line on the highway and hit a<br />
truck driven by George R. ELLISON, 37, Sauk Village, Ill. Ellison was not hurt.<br />

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home for Mrs.<br />
Nellie Mae HAGAN, 76, who died of a heart attack about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday while raking leaves<br />
in front of her home a mile south of the city. <strong>The</strong> Rev. George CRANE will officiate at the rites<br />
and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />
Mrs. Hagan’s body was found by a Nyona Lake couple, Mr. and Mrs. Howard<br />
HOWARD, who were passing by. Her husband, Ed HAGAN, has been bedridden three years and<br />
was unaware his wife had been stricken. Dr. Howard ROWE, county coroner, said that death had<br />
occurred about 15 minutes prior to discovery of the body.<br />
Born Nov. 16, 1882, in Fairmount, Ill., she was the daughter of George and Ella<br />
MANNING REESE. She had spent most of her life in this county, moving here when 18 years of<br />
age. Her marriage to Ed. V. HAGAN was on Dec. 24, 1902.<br />
Mrs. Hagan was a member of the Mt. Zion club.<br />
Surviving are the husband; one son, Donald [HAGAN], Mishawaka; one daughter, Mrs.<br />
Virl FORE, Noblesville; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Albert<br />
ESHELMAN, rochester; two brothers, Fred REESE, Rochester, and Lloyd REESE, Macy; an<br />
aunt, Mrs. T. J. GAUMER, R.R. 4, Rochester, and several nieces and nephews.<br />

Fred KING, 71, R.R. 5, Rochester, died of a coronary occlusion at 9:45 a.m. today in his<br />
home in Newcastle township. He had been ill about one month.<br />
A Newcastle township resident since 1949, he moved there from the Burton community.<br />
Before that, he had lived in the <strong>Fulton</strong> vicinity. He was a farmer.<br />
Mr. King was born May 27, 1888, in Miami county to Charles and Julia ZEGAFUSE<br />
KING. On June 7, 1917, he was married in St. Joseph, Mich., to Elma M. CRUM, who survives.<br />
He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist church near Talma and the <strong>Fulton</strong> Masonic<br />
Lodge No. 665. Two years ago, he received a 25-year pin in the Masonic organization.<br />
Surviving besides the widow are six daughters, Mrs. Lemoine (Hazel) KERCHER,<br />
Roann; Mrs. William (Ruby) DINWOODIE, Gary; Mrs. William (Julia) FALKNER, Bremen;<br />
Mrs. Ernest (Francis) MILLER, R.R. 4, Rochester; Mrs. Myron (Elvira) REED, R.R. 6, Rochester,<br />
and Mrs. Richard (Charlotte) MILLER, R.R. 1, Rochester.<br />
Also a son, Edward [KING], Rochester; nineteen grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.<br />
Catherine PAIGE, Olympia, Wash., and Mrs. Ellen ANDREWS, Seattle, Wash., and several<br />
nieces and nephews. <strong>The</strong> parents, two sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.<br />
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Baptist church, with Masonic rites<br />
also being conducted. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Philip ROBINSON will be in charge. Burial will be in the<br />
Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. <strong>The</strong> body will be taken from the Foster & Good funeral home to the<br />
residence, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday.
