Ida S. Dittman<br />

Mrs. Henry (Ida S.) DITTMAN, 74, <strong>Fulton</strong>, died at her home at 6 a.m. today after a<br />

serious illness of one week. She had been in failing health for a year.<br />

Born in Schwerin, Germany, Feb. 25, 1885, she had lived in <strong>Fulton</strong> 29 years. She moved<br />

there from Goodland, Ind., after coming to the United States. Her parents were Carl and May<br />

KREUGER CORDS.<br />

On April 23, 1903, she was married in Pulaski county. She was a member of the St. John<br />

Lutheran church and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.<br />

Surviving are the husband; a son, Clarence [DITTMAN], <strong>Fulton</strong>; five daughters, Mrs.<br />

Alfred (Bertha) DREBLOW, Reynolds; Mrs. James O. (Wilma) WILSON, Kewanna; Mrs. Earl<br />

(Elsie) CLERGET, Monticello; Mrs. Stanley (Vera) AMBROSE, Byron Center, Mich., and Mrs.<br />

Raymond (Mildred DAILY, Fowler; twenty-one grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.<br />

Also two sisters, Mrs. Bertha SCHULTZ, Saskatchewan, Canada, and Mrs. Martha<br />

SLAGTER, Grand Rapids, Mich.; five brothers, Ernest [CORDS], Kewanna; William [CORDS],<br />

Medaryville; Fred [CORDS], Star City; Carl and Rudolph [CORDS], Phoenix, Ariz.<br />

Final rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the St. John Lutheran church here with the Rev. Delmar<br />

KRUEGER officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran church cemetery at Reynolds. Friends may<br />

call after noon Friday at the Ditmire funeral home in <strong>Fulton</strong>.
