Harry Emmons<br />

Harry EMMONS, R.R. 2, Rochester, died about 11 a.m. today. He was the step-father of<br />

Ray GLASS, Rochester. Umbaugh funeral home in Argos will be in charge of services which are<br />

pending.<br />

Pamela Joan Nicklaus<br />

Six-year-old Pamela Joan NICKLAUS, daughter of Floyd and Marie SMITH<br />

NICKLAUS, R.R. 3, Kewanna, died Wednesday afternoon at Woodlawn hospital. Funeral rites<br />

will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Harrison funerl home at Kewanna with the Rev. Darwin<br />

LAVENGOOD officiating. Burial will be at Kewanna.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />

Born July 24, 1952 at Rochester, Pamela was a first grader at Kewanna school and<br />

attended the Bruce Lake Community church.<br />

Surviving besides the parents, are a brother, Parick Jonathon [NICKLAUS], at home; the<br />

grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred STAHLER, R.R. 6, Rochester, and several aunts and uncles.<br />

Harry Emmons<br />

Funeral services for Harry EMMONS, 73, R.R. 2, Rochester, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in<br />

the Umbaugh funeral home at Argos. <strong>The</strong> Rev. Ernest TREBER of Dunkirk will officiate and<br />

burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />

Mr. Emmons died Thursday at 11 a.m. in his home. A resident of <strong>Fulton</strong> and Marshall<br />

counties all his life, he was born at Tiosa on Sept. 4, 1885, the son of Jesse and Susan BURKETT<br />

EMMONS. He was married at Plymouth, June 10,l 1918, to Florence GLASS, who survives.<br />

Mr. Emmons, a retired employee of the Nickel Plate railroad, was a member of the Argos<br />

Masonic lodge.<br />

Also surviving are one son, Charles Harry [EMMONS], Bourbon; three daughters, Mrs.<br />

George (Minnie Bell) ROWE, Argos; Mrs. Carl (Louise) SHEETS, Plymouth; and Mrs. Lawrence<br />

(Beatrice) HUFF, Mishawaka; one step-son, Ray GLASS, Rochester; one step-daughter, Mrs.<br />

Narcissus RUTHERFORD, Mishawaka; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.<br />
