Anna F. Gray<br />

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Ditmire funeral home at <strong>Fulton</strong> for<br />

Mrs. Anna F. GRAY, 80, <strong>Fulton</strong>, who died at St. Joseph hospital in Logansport at 10:15 a.m.<br />

Wednesday after a six-month illness.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. William KEITH will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the <strong>Fulton</strong><br />

cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />

A resident of the <strong>Fulton</strong> community since 1904, Mrs. Gray was born June 6, 1879, in<br />

Benton county, the daughter of William and Malvinana LIPSCOMB NUTT. She was married Jan.<br />

3, 1900, to William H. GRAY, who survives. Mrs. Gray was a charter member of the <strong>Fulton</strong><br />

Order of Eastern Star and of the <strong>Fulton</strong> Baptist church.<br />

Also surviving are one son, Floyd [GRAY], West Palm Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs.<br />

Kline REED, R.R. 1, Rochester; Mrs. Oscar MILLER, Logansport, and Mrs. Clayson BAILEY,<br />

R.R. 6, Rochestr; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy NUTT,<br />

Kewanna, and Oliver NUTT, Selma, Ala., and one sister, Mrs. Grace NEWCOMER, Indianapolis.<br />

Martha Clinker<br />

Mrs. Alvin (Martha) CLINKER, 73, at 4 p.m. Wednesday of carcinoma in her home, two<br />

miles north of Akron. She had been ill three years, in serious condition for five months.<br />

Born June 18, 1886 in Kosciusko county, Mrs. Clinker had lived in the Akron vicinity all<br />

her life. She was the daghter of John and Mary BURKETT MEREDITH.<br />

In 1907, Mrs. Clinker was married to Alvin CLINKER. She was a memer of the Beaver<br />

Dam E.U.B. church and the Ladies Aid Society.<br />

Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Lora) CUMERLAND, R.R. 2, Akron;<br />

a son, Gerald [CLINKER], Akron; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.<br />

Zora McFARLAND, Akron, and several nieces and nephews. Two brother preceded her in death.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. CST Saturday at the BeavrDam E.U.B. church with the Rev.<br />

Lloyd OVERMYER officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery.<br />

Friends may cll at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron from 7 p.m. CST today until noon<br />

Saturday and at the church from 1-2 p.m.<br />

Amelia Deeb<br />

Mrs. Amelia DEEB, 69, Indianapolis, mother of Si DEEB, 1209 Hill street, died at 10<br />

p.m. Wednesday in her home.<br />

Mrs. Deeb lived for 20 years in Twelve Mile, leaving that community in 1952.<br />

<strong>The</strong> body is at the Flanner and Buchanan funeral home in Indianapolis, where services<br />

are pending.<br />

Hazel Bowers<br />

Mrs. Hazel May BOWERS, 66, died Wednesday at 4:35 p.m. in the home of her son,<br />

James BOWERS, 916 Monroe street. A resident of 509 East 13th street, she had been living with<br />

her son since becoming ill July 25. Death was due to hepatitis.<br />

Born Feb. 11, 1893, at Winamac, she was the daughter of Mose and Nettie TOBEY<br />

HEATER. She was married Sept. 30, 1919, at Winamac, to George BOWERS, who died June 28,<br />

1953. <strong>The</strong> Bowerses had resided in Rochester for 30 years, moving here from Kewanna.<br />

Mrs. Bowers was a member of the First Christian church.
