Annabelle Mitchell<br />

Funeral services for Miss Annabelle MITCHELL, 71, former Rochester resident who<br />

died Saturday at OakPark, Ill., will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home<br />

here. <strong>The</strong> Rev. James RHOADS will officiate and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home. Miss Mitchell resided at Vandalia, Mich., having<br />

left Rochester at the age of 16 years.<br />

Lesley Miller<br />

Lesley MILLER, 71, Hammond, father of Mrs. Wayne WILDRICK, Rochester, died at<br />

St. Margaret’s hospital in Hammond Sunday at 1 a.m.<br />

Also surviving are the wife and five other children, Gardner, Harry, Wayne, Don and<br />

John [MILLER].<br />

A printer for 56 years, Mr. Miller had retired from <strong>The</strong> Hammond Times in 1958 after 14<br />

years there. He also had worked at <strong>The</strong> Indianapolis Star, <strong>The</strong> Lafayette Journal-Courier and for<br />

20 years was foreman of the composing room for <strong>The</strong> Michigan City <strong>News</strong>-Dispatch. Mr. Miller<br />

also had published weekly papers at Morocco and Montpelier, Ind.<br />

Funeral rites will be held at the Burns funeral home, 5840 Hohman avenue, Hammond, at<br />

7:30 p.m. Tuesday and again at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jackson funeral home at Rensselaer,<br />

where burial will be made. Friends may call at the Burns funeral home in Hammond after 7 p.m.<br />

today.<br />

Nora McLaren<br />

Mrs. Nora McLAREN, 76, 804 West Lawrence street, Mishawaka, died at 2 a.m. today in<br />

St. Joseph hospital at Mishawaka aftr a two-year illness. Mrs. McLaren, a native of the Richland<br />

Center community, had been hospitalized for one week.<br />

Born Sept. 8, 1882, in Richland township, she had lived in Mishawaka for a year, moving<br />

there from Argos. She was the daughter of Solomon and Caroline FLORA. Her marriage was on<br />

Jan. 24, 1903, at Rochester to Daniel McLAREN, who died in 1946.<br />

Mrs. McLaren was a member of the Argos Methodist church.<br />

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Bertha FLORENCE, Plymouth, and several nieces and<br />

nephews.<br />

Funeral rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Grossman funeral home at Argos with the<br />

Rev. E. J. PETERS officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends<br />

may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />

Rev. G. L. Moss<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. G. L. MOSS, 76, of near Twelve Mile, former pastor of the Tiosa Brethren<br />

church, died at 6:30 a.m. today. He was the cousin of Mrs. Raymond RIDDLE of Tiosa.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Moss had served the Tiosa church for four years about 10 years ago.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m Friday in the Corinth Brethren church and burial will be in the<br />

Greenlawn cemetery at Mexico. Friends may call at the Moss home, a mile east of Twelve Mile,<br />

after noon Thursday.
