Annabelle Mitchell
Funeral services for Miss Annabelle MITCHELL, 71, former Rochester resident who
died Saturday at OakPark, Ill., will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home
here. The Rev. James RHOADS will officiate and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home. Miss Mitchell resided at Vandalia, Mich., having
left Rochester at the age of 16 years.
Lesley Miller
Lesley MILLER, 71, Hammond, father of Mrs. Wayne WILDRICK, Rochester, died at
St. Margaret’s hospital in Hammond Sunday at 1 a.m.
Also surviving are the wife and five other children, Gardner, Harry, Wayne, Don and
John [MILLER].
A printer for 56 years, Mr. Miller had retired from The Hammond Times in 1958 after 14
years there. He also had worked at The Indianapolis Star, The Lafayette Journal-Courier and for
20 years was foreman of the composing room for The Michigan City News-Dispatch. Mr. Miller
also had published weekly papers at Morocco and Montpelier, Ind.
Funeral rites will be held at the Burns funeral home, 5840 Hohman avenue, Hammond, at
7:30 p.m. Tuesday and again at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jackson funeral home at Rensselaer,
where burial will be made. Friends may call at the Burns funeral home in Hammond after 7 p.m.
today.

Nora McLaren
Mrs. Nora McLAREN, 76, 804 West Lawrence street, Mishawaka, died at 2 a.m. today in
St. Joseph hospital at Mishawaka aftr a two-year illness. Mrs. McLaren, a native of the Richland
Center community, had been hospitalized for one week.
Born Sept. 8, 1882, in Richland township, she had lived in Mishawaka for a year, moving
there from Argos. She was the daughter of Solomon and Caroline FLORA. Her marriage was on
Jan. 24, 1903, at Rochester to Daniel McLAREN, who died in 1946.
Mrs. McLaren was a member of the Argos Methodist church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Bertha FLORENCE, Plymouth, and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Grossman funeral home at Argos with the
Rev. E. J. PETERS officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.

Rev. G. L. Moss
The Rev. G. L. MOSS, 76, of near Twelve Mile, former pastor of the Tiosa Brethren
church, died at 6:30 a.m. today. He was the cousin of Mrs. Raymond RIDDLE of Tiosa.
The Rev. Moss had served the Tiosa church for four years about 10 years ago.
Services will be at 2 p.m Friday in the Corinth Brethren church and burial will be in the
Greenlawn cemetery at Mexico. Friends may call at the Moss home, a mile east of Twelve Mile,
after noon Thursday.
