Angeline Craig<br />
Mrs. Clarence (Angeline) CRAIG, 79, Talma, died Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in Woodlawn<br />
hospital, where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been in ill health for the past six<br />
months.<br />
Born June 1, 1879, in Rochester as Angeline BALL, she was the daughter of John and<br />
Mary BALL. Her entire life had been spent in this community. Her first marriage was to George<br />
WOLF, who died in 1923. Her second marriage was in 1925 at Indianapolis to Clarence D.<br />
CRAIG, who survives.<br />
Mrs. Craig was a member of the Talma Christian church.<br />
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Everett (Dessie) GREATHOUSE, Rochester;<br />
Mrs. Max (Mary) McCARTER, Peru, and Miss Herma WOLF, Glencoe, Ill.; four grandchildren,<br />
Lois GREATHOUSE, Mrs. Nancy MACY, Robert McCARTER and Malcolm McCARTER, and<br />
one sister, Margaret GOTTSCHALK, Rochester.<br />
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home<br />
with the Rev. Delbert RUBERG of Huntington officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery<br />
here. Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />

Harriet Nickels<br />
Mrs. Harriet NICKELS, 83, who lived south of Kewanna, died in Woodlawn hospital<br />
Monday afternoon after a short illness.<br />
Born in <strong>Fulton</strong> county on Jan. 21, 1876, Mrs. Nickels was the daughter of Chryance and<br />
Mary C. MINTON HENDRICKSON. Her husband, Charles [NICKELS], died in 1954. Mrs.<br />
Nickels was a member of the Grass Creek E.U.B. church.<br />
Surviving are two daughters, Bertha A. NICKELS, at home, and Mrs. Dessie C.<br />
COGHLAN, Ardaley, N.Y., two sons, Howard [NICKELS],Muncie, and Fred [NICKELS],<br />
Kewanna; a sistr, Mrs. Pearl COOK, Rochester; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.<br />
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Grass Creek E.U.B. church and burial will<br />
be in the Grass Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the Harrison funeral home in Kewanna after<br />
noon Wednesday. <strong>The</strong> body will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Thursday to lie in state.<br />

Gladys Allen<br />
Mrs. Ermon (Gladys) ALLEN, 65, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home in Culver<br />
early Tuesday morning. She was a former resident of Rochester.<br />
She was born June 11, 1893, the daughter of Henry H. and Rachel Ann SIMCOKE<br />
PASCHALL, and was married to Ermon ALLEN in September, 1915, at Crown Point.<br />
Surviving are the husband; a son, Paschall [ALLEN], Albany, N.Y., and three<br />
grandchildren. Three sisters and two brothers preceded Mrs. Allen in death.<br />
Funeral arrangements which are being made by the Easterday funeral home, Culver, are<br />
incomplete.
