Edna Roy<br />
Mrs. Ray (Edna) ROY, a former resident of Rochester, died in Albuquerque, N.M. at<br />
7:30 a.m. today of a pulmonary embolism, friends here have been advised. She and her husband<br />
resided at 47 South East street in Albuquerque.<br />
Dessie Henderson<br />
Mrs. Dessie HENDERSON, 77, Akron, died at 7:45 a.m. today in the Miller nursing<br />
home here after an illness of five years. She had spent most of her life in the Akron vicinity.<br />
Mrs. Henderson was born Dec. 12, 1881, in <strong>Fulton</strong> county, the daughter of Dannie and<br />
Ella BARNES McINTYRE. She was a member of the Akron Church of God.<br />
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Alice DAINE, Gilead, and Mrs. Hattie BUCHER, Disko,<br />
and a brother, Orval McINTYRE, Kewanna. A son, a daughter and two brothers preceded her in<br />
death.<br />
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Akron Church of God with the Rev. Harold<br />
CONRAD officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery.<br />
Friends may call at the Moyer-Haupert funeral home in Akron after noon Wednesday<br />
until noon Thursday and from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the church.<br />
Tillie J. Rosentreter<br />
Mrs. Fred [Tillie J.) ROSENTRETER, 70, a lifelong resident of Argos, died at 5 p.m.<br />
Monday in Parkview hospital at Plymouth, a few hours after being admitted. She had been ill one<br />
year. Born April 14, 1888 in Argos, she was the daughter of George and Laura DUNLAP. She<br />
was married on Nov. 28, 1928.<br />
Surviving ar two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Wilma) BROWN, Argos, and Mrs. Arlie<br />
(Rosanna) MOORE, Chicago; two grandchildren and a brother, Homer DUNLAP, Argos.<br />
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Grossman funeral home at Argos with the Rev.<br />
Fred CROWN, Jr., of the Argos Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove<br />
cemetry. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />
Mary Ellen Sickmiller<br />
Mrs. Onel (Mary Ellen) SICKMILLER, 60, R.R. 2, Argos, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday in<br />
Parkview hospital, Plymouth, after an illness of one year. Mrs. Sickmiller had been residing with<br />
her daughter Mrs. Robert (Neoma) AUGUSTINE, Bourbon, for a few months preceding her<br />
admission in the hospital.<br />
A lifetime resident of Marshall county, she was born Oct. 4, 1898, near Argos, the<br />
daughter of Charles and Eva OLER. She was married June 30, 1920, at Plymouth. Mr. Sickmiller<br />
preceded her in death in November, 1956. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist church.<br />
Surviving are three daughtrs, Mrs. Augustine, Mrs. Matthew (Rachel) GORALCZYK,<br />
South Bend, and Mrs. Conrad (Juanita) JACOBSON, Plymouth; seven grandchildren and four<br />
sisters, Mrs. Dolly MARTIN, Mrs. Edna SICKMILLER and Miss Irene OLER, all of Argos, and<br />
Mrs. Jenny BIGGS, Bremen.<br />
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Grossman funeral home,<br />
Argos by the Rev. John HUBBELL, Muncie. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Argos.<br />
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
