Pearl Pressnall<br />
Funeral services have been set for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Haupert funeral home at<br />
Akron for Mrs. Pearl PRESSNALL, 83, Akron, who died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday in the Winchester<br />
hospital after an extended illness.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Claude FAWNS and the Rev. Maurice KESSLER will officiate at the rites and<br />
burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.<br />
Born Oct. 3, 1875, in Akron, Mrs. Pressnall was the daughter of William and Mary<br />
FANATA KRIEGHBAUM. Her husband, William R. [PRESSNALL], preceded her in death.<br />
Surviving are one son, Dever [PRESSNALL], Winchester, and three sisters, Mrs. Mabel<br />
STARK, Akron; Mrs. Clio BRADWAY, Lafayette, and Mrs. Maude HOOVER, Elkhart.<br />
Hubert Runkle<br />
Funeral services have been set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Old German Baptist<br />
church near Hoover for Hubert RUNKLE, Sr., 66, who died at 4:45 p.m. Friday while visiting<br />
friends at Modesto, Cal.<br />
Mr. Runkle resided on a farm northwest of Mexico.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Glen METZGER will officiate at the rites and burial will be in Greenlawn<br />
cemetry at Mexico. Friends may call at the home after 8 a.m. Wednesday.<br />
Surviving are the widow; six sons, Charles and Joe [RUNKLE], both of Macy; Kenneth<br />
[RUNKLE], Peru; D. M. [RUNKLE], Fort Wayne; Hubert [RUNKLE], Jr., Mexico; John<br />
[RUNKLE], San Antonio, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Herman CONRAD, R.R. 5, Logansport;<br />
Mrs. Virginia BRADEN, R.R. 5, Peru; Mrs. Naomi FLORA, Mexico; Mrs. Norma PUGH, R.R.<br />
4, Peru; twtnty-seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. Otis LOSHER,<br />
Logansport.<br />
Charles Sheetz<br />
Charles SHEETZ, 87, native of Rochester, died Thursday at the Los Angeles General<br />
hospital after a two-year illness. He had resided in California the past 36 years.<br />
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sheetz funeral home at Akron,<br />
with the Rev. Maurice KESSLER officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine cemetery east of<br />
Mentone. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday.<br />
Born June 24, 1872, at Rochester, he had resided north of Athens before going to<br />
California, where he owned a chicken hatchery near Los Angeles. His parents were John and<br />
Lavina AULT SHEETZ and his wife is the former Nancy JONES, who survives.<br />
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mildred) HOYT, Los Angeles; one son,<br />
Otis [SHEETZ], Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha DOUGLAS and Mrs. Anna STERLING,<br />
both of Whiting, and several nieces and nephews.
