Rolla Cunningham<br />

Rolla CUNNINGHAM, 81, Huntington, died Sunday morning in the Huntington county<br />

hospital. He was a former resident of Rochester, moving to Huntington 13 years ago.<br />

He had been in serious health for the past year and had been in the Huntington hospital<br />

since Friday.<br />

He was born Aug. 13, 1878, to Frank and Mary LOCKHART CUNNINGHAM.<br />

On Feb. 14, 1904, he married Orrie GOODRICH, who survives.<br />

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marselle SECRIST, Elkhart, and Mrs. Victoria<br />

BAKER, Norfolk, Va.; four sons, Gerald [CUNNINGHAM], Fr. Wayne; Goodrich<br />

[CUNNINGHAM], Liberty Center; Gresham [CUNNINGHAM], Alhambra, Acl., and Gilbert<br />

[CUNNINGHAM], Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Ella ANDREWS, Danville, Ill., and Mrs.<br />

Mattie CONOVER, Crawfordsville; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.<br />

Funeral services will be at noon CST at the Bailey funeral home in Huntington with the<br />

Rev. Claud STUDEBAKER officiating.<br />

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Rochester. Expected arrival in Rochester for<br />

graveside services is 1:45 p.m.<br />

Tuesday, November 17, <strong>1959</strong><br />

Rolla Cunningham<br />

Graveside services for Rolla CUNNINGHAM, 81, Huntington, a former Rochester<br />

resident, will be Wednesday ab out 1:45 p.m. at the local I.O.O.F. cemetery. Interment here will<br />

follow funeral services at the Bailey funeral home in Huntington, scheduled for noon CST.<br />

Mr. Cunningham died Sunday morning in the Huntington county hospital after being in<br />

serious health for one year. He had been at the hospital since Friday.<br />

Mr. Cunningham left Rochester for Huntington 13 years ago.<br />

Wednesday, November 18, <strong>1959</strong><br />

Wilford Guise<br />

Wilford GUISE, 104 Elm street, a lifetime resident of Rochester and vicinity, died at<br />

12:30 a.m. today in Woodlawn hosital, where he had been a patient one week. He was 78 years<br />

old and had been ill for five months.<br />

Born near Kewanna, Dec. 18, 1880, he was the son of Daniel and Etta DAVIS GUISE.<br />

In 1910, he was married in Rochester to Belle WALTZ, who died 18 years ago. Mr. Guise had<br />

been a farmer, retiring 17 years ago.<br />

Surviving are two brothers, J. Hugh GUISE, Claypool, and E. A. GUISE, Tulsa, Okla.,<br />

and several nieces and nephews. Three sisters, a brother and his parents preceded him in death.<br />

Final rites have been set tentatively for 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster & Good funeral<br />

home here with the Rev. Kenneth FOULKE of the Rochester E.U.B. chuch officiating. Burial will<br />

be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday.
