Kline W. Sales<br />

Kline W. SALES, 72, retired Aubbeenaubbee township farmer, died Friday at 2:30 p.m.<br />

at his home, 404 West Ninth street, after a six-day illness from a heart ailment.<br />

Born April 8, 1887, near Leiters Ford, he was the son of George and Nancy STAHL<br />

SALES. Except for 10 years’ residence in Culver, he had spent his entire life in <strong>Fulton</strong> county.<br />

He retired from farming two years ago and had lived in Rochester for the past six months.<br />

His marriage was Jan, 20, 1909 to Addie CAMPBELL, who survives. Mr. Sales was a<br />

member of the Grace Methodist church and the Gleaners lodge.<br />

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Genevieve) OSBORN, Culver, and Mrs.<br />

Hershel (Marjorie) DYER, Lagro; two sons, Robert C. [SALES], Livonia, Mich.; and Kenneth<br />

[SALES], North Manchester; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Earl SEE,<br />

Leiters Ford, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were one daughter, one son,<br />

one sister, one brother and his parents.<br />

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Grace Methodist church with Dr. Claude<br />

YOUNG officiating. Burial will be in the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the<br />

Foster & Good funeral home after 7 p.m. today. <strong>The</strong> body will be taken to the church prior to<br />

funeral services Monday.<br />

Louisa E. Plough<br />

Mrs. Louisa Eleanor “Aunt Ella” PLOUGH, 92, a former Rochester resident, died at<br />

11:05 a.m. Saturday in the Blackford county hospital at Hartford City. She had been seriously ill<br />

for the last three weeks.<br />

Mrs. Plough had been living in Hartford City with her foster-daughter and family, Mr.<br />

and Mrs. Robert PORFIDIO.<br />

Born Dec. 14, 1866, in Clinton county, Mrs. Plough was married in Rochester on Nov.<br />

11, 1885 to William Madison PLOUGH. He died in July, 1891. Mrs. Plough was a member of<br />

the Rochester E.U.B. church.<br />

Surviving besides the foster-daughter, are a daughter, Mrs. Coda Ethel LENNON,<br />

Seattle, Wash.; a step-daughtr, Mrs. Emma MILLIE, Portland, Ore.; eleven grandchildren, and<br />

five great-grandchildren.<br />

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Keplinger funeral home in Hartford City<br />

with Dr. John W. HALSEY of the First Presbytrian church of that city officiating. Burial will be<br />

in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery.<br />

Forest Steininger<br />

Forest STEININGER, 69, Auburn, a native of Richland township, died of a heart attack<br />

at his home Saturday evening. He was the brother of Herman STEININGER of Rochester.<br />

<strong>The</strong> son of Howard and Eliza [BEEHLER] [STEININGER], Mr. Steininger was married<br />

to Viola LUSHER of Royal Center in 1910.<br />

Surviving are the widow; six sons, Dwight [STEININGER], Nashville, Ind.; Leo<br />

[STEININGER], Decatur, Ill.; Dee [STEININGER], Grabel, Ind.; Hubert [STEININGER], Fort<br />

Wayne, and Emmit and William [STEININGER], Auburn; a daughter, Mrs. Paul BOWMAN,<br />

Auburn; two brothers, Irwin [STEININGER], Lydick, and George [STEININGER], Fort Wayne,
