Mrs. Thomas Morrissey<br />

Mrs. Thomas MORRISSEY, 70, Pecatonica, Ill., died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday<br />

night while visiting in Rockford, Ill.<br />

She was the sister of H. J. HALSTEAD, Rochester. Funeral services and burial will be in<br />

Pecatonica. Mr. and Mrs. HALSTEAD and daughter, Barbara, left today for Pocatonica to attend<br />

the funeral.<br />

Dessie Harding<br />

Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Macy Methodist church for Mrs. Dessie<br />

HARDING, 76, R.R. 1, Macy, who died Saturday night at her home after a three-month illness.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. I. T. ROGERS officiated at the rites, assisted by the Rev. Richard SUMNER.<br />

Burial was in the Plainview cemetery at Macy.<br />

Born at Silver Lake on March 28, 1883, she was the daughter of William and Electa<br />

EPLER SNYDER. She had resided in Macy since 1910 and was a member of the Macy<br />

Methodist church.<br />

Surviving are the husband, Corbin [HARDING]; two sons, Everett MILLS, R.R. 4, Peru,<br />

and Byron HARDING, R.R. 1, Macy; one daughter, Mrs. Lena BALSBAUGH, Peru; four<br />

grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were one son, two brothers<br />

and two sisters.<br />

Clyde J. Beehler<br />

Clyde J. BEEHLER, 64, former Richland township trustee, died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday in<br />

the Columbia City hospital after suffering a heart attack earlier in the day while attending the<br />

Whitley county fair. He had been in poor health for two years.<br />

Born in Richland township on March 28, 1895, he was the son of William and Christina<br />

COPLEN BEEHLER. He had resided in that community his entire life. His marriage was on<br />

Aug. 4, 1945, to Lucille Z. FLAUGH, who survives.<br />

Mr. Beehler was a member of the Richland Center Methodist church and the <strong>Fulton</strong><br />

<strong>County</strong> Farm Bureau.<br />

Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ruth NELLANS, Argos; Mrs. Rethal EVANS,<br />

Rochester; Mrs. Mary THOMPSON, Akron, and Mrs. Alta ROUCH, <strong>Fulton</strong>. One brother, Leo<br />

[BEEHLER], died April 39 of this year.<br />

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Foster & Good funeral home here with the<br />

Rev. Lloyd MENERY of Medaryville officiating, assisted by the Rev. Harry SHEWMAKER.<br />

Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
