Elizabeth Miller<br />
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Ditmire funeral home in <strong>Fulton</strong> for<br />
Mrs. Elizabeth MILLER, 76, who died at 7 p.m. Friday in her home one mile south of <strong>Fulton</strong> on<br />
Ind. 25.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. Delmar KRUEGER of Rochester will officiate and burial will be in the <strong>Fulton</strong><br />
cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.<br />
Mrs. Miller, the daughter of Peter and Eva KLAUS KALE, was born in Yugoslavia on<br />
Dec. 24, 1882. She was married first to George GRAF, who died in 1914. Her second marriage<br />
was Dec. 24, 1945, to Ernest MILLER. She had resided in the <strong>Fulton</strong> community since moving<br />
there from Chicago in 1945. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran church at Rochester.<br />
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Peter GRAF, R.R. 1, Macy, and George GRAF, in<br />
Germany; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; two step-children, Mrs. Anna Marie<br />
SUTTON, <strong>Fulton</strong>, and Bernhard LATTERNER, R.R. 6, Rochester; one step-grandson and one<br />
sister, Mrs. Margaret FREUND, Toronto, Canada.<br />
Wendell Newcomb<br />
Wendell NEWCOMB, 59, a native of <strong>Fulton</strong> county, died Thursday at 11 p.m. in the<br />
University Medical Center at Portland, Ore. He resided at Newburg, Ore.<br />
Born Aug. 2, 1899, in <strong>Fulton</strong> county, he had moved to Oregon 50 years ago from Argos.<br />
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. DeWitt NEWCOMB of Argos. Mr. Newcomb belonged to the<br />
McMinville (Ore.) Christian church.<br />
Surviving are one son, Trent [NEWCOMB]; and a daughter, Nona Rae [NEWCOMB],<br />
both of Dallas, Ore.; his father and stepmother, R.R. 1, Argos; one brother, Roy [NEWCOMB],<br />
North Liberty; one sister, Mrs. Ruth HALTERMAN, R.R. 5, Rochester; one half-brother, Alvin<br />
NEWCOMB, Tippecanoe; one half-sister, Mrs. Lydia SHOEMAKER, Stevensville, Mont.<br />
Funeral services and burial will be at Newburg Monday. <strong>The</strong> Brown funeral home is in<br />
charge of arrangements.<br />
Nellie Richardson<br />
Graveside rites will be Sunday at 3:45 p.m. in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here for Mrs. Nellie<br />
RICHARDSON, 82, who died at Knox Thursday. She was a former Rochester resident. Mrs.<br />
Richardson was a member of the Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary.<br />

Pearl Czapansky<br />
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist church for Mrs. Frances<br />
Pearl CZAPANSKY, 64, 1229 Elm street, who died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday in her home.<br />
Mrs. Czapansky’s death came suddenly, of a heart attack. She had attended an ice cream<br />
social the previous evening and apparently had been in good health.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Rev. James RHOADS will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the Citizens<br />
cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until Tuesday noon, when the body will be taken<br />
to the church to lie in state.<br />
Born Nov. 29, 1894, in Rochester, she had resided here her entire life except for a few<br />
years in Oklahoma. Her parents were Benjamin Franklin and Lydia May HARRING OWENS
