Charles O. Watson<br />

Funeral services for Charles O. WATSON, 81, Bradenton, Fla., father of Paul WATSON<br />

of Rochester, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Biggs funeral home in Marion.<br />

Mr. Watson, who had spent most of his life in Huntington county, died about 6 p.m.<br />

Monday. He had been ill for some time.<br />

Cora F. Rogers<br />

Mrs. Cora F. ROGERS, 88, 1013 Monroe street, died Sunday evening at the Pontious<br />

nursing home after a three-week illness.<br />

Born Sept. 21, 1871, near Rochester, she had spent her entire life in <strong>Fulton</strong> and<br />

Kosciusko counties. Her parents were George W. and Catherine SHAFFER GREGSON. She was<br />

married Sept. 6, 1890, in Rochester, to Walter L. ROGERS, who died in 1937.<br />

She was a member of the Rochester E.U.B. church.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Vera P. ROGERS, at home; two sons, Estel ROGERS,<br />

Rochester, and Harley L. ROGERS, Akron; seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.<br />

One daughter, Edith [ROGERS], died in 1900. Mrs. Rogers was the last surviving member of<br />

nine children.<br />

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home<br />

with the Rev. I. E. LONGENBAUGH of Warsaw, former E.U.B. pastor here, officiating. Burial<br />

will be in the Nichols cemetery north of Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m.<br />

today.<br />

John E. Richardson<br />

John Edward RICHARDSON, 47, of Rochester, died suddenly of a heart attack at 2 a.m.<br />

Sunday while visiting friends in Chicago.<br />

<strong>The</strong> son of Fred and Mary BALDWIN RICHARDSON, he was born July 20, 1912 and<br />

had lived in Benton Harbor 25 years. He was co-owner of the Office Equipment company and<br />

was active in a Little <strong>The</strong>ater group there. He attended Rochester high school.<br />

Surviving are his wife, Louise [RICHARDSON]; a brother, Robert [RICHARDSON],<br />

Dayton, O.; a sister, Mrs. Al (Mary Jayne) DASSE, Benton Harbor; and an uncle, Dr. Charles<br />

RICHARDSON, Rochester. <strong>The</strong> brother and the sister both are former Rochester residents.<br />

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kirlikouske funeral home in St. Joseph,<br />

Mich.<br />
