Bertha Troutman<br />

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ditmire funeral home at <strong>Fulton</strong> for Mrs.<br />

Bertha McDOUGLE TROUTMAN, 79, who died at her home in Detroit Friday morning. She<br />

was the sister of Walter McDOUGLE, R.R. 5, Rochester.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Arthur TRUEX will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the Metea<br />

cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.<br />

Mrs. Troutman, the daughter of Edwin and Martha TILTON McDOUGLE, was born in<br />

Cass county on Aug. 5, 1880, and was married to Harry TROUTMAN, who died May 21, 1941.<br />

<strong>The</strong> couple moved to Detroit 30 years ago.<br />

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Martha MARSHALL, Detroit; one grandson, David<br />

[MARSHALL], and one sister, Mrs. Ferdinand TROUTMAN, Winter Park, Fla.<br />

Twin daughters born to Mrs. Phillip MILLISER of Argos, the former Judy BOWEN of<br />

Akron, died 48 hours apart Thursday in Parkview hospital at Plymouth.<br />

<strong>The</strong> first, Joanne [MILLISER], was dead at birth and the second, Jean Anna<br />

[MILLISER], died 48 hours later.<br />

Among the survivors is a great-grandfather, Nelson BOWEN, of Akron.<br />

Charles Weller<br />

Charles WELLER, 84, R.R. 4, Rochester, died Sunday at 4 a.m. in the Miller nursing<br />

home after a prolonged illness.<br />

Born March 13, 1875, in Franklin county, Ohio, he was the son of Christopher and<br />

Catherine WELLER. He had lived in this community nine years moving here from Macy. His<br />

marriage was to Louie TRACY, who died in 1940.<br />

Surviving are one daughter, Miss Glee WELLER, R.R. 4, Rochester; two sons, Oren and<br />

Victor [WELLER], both of R.R. 4, Rochester, and several nieces and nephews. One daughter<br />

preceded him in death.<br />

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home with the<br />

Rev. Ray MILLS officiating. Burial will be in the Macy Plainview cemetery. Friends may call at<br />

the funeral home.
