Ida V. Kelly<br />
Mrs. Ida V. KELLY, 86, <strong>Fulton</strong>, widow of Albert KELLY, died at 1:45 a.m. today at the<br />
Miller nursing home here after an illness of six months.<br />
Mrs. Kelly was born June 6, 1872, in Liberty township, the daughter of Joseph and Sarah<br />
Ann ATHA WILLIAMS, and had spent nearly her entire lifetime in the township. In 1919 she<br />
was married to Mr. Kelly, who died in 1934. She was a member of the <strong>Fulton</strong> E.U.B. church.<br />
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emma COOPER, <strong>Fulton</strong>, and several nieces and nephews.<br />
Three brothers and six sisters preceded her in death.<br />
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the <strong>Fulton</strong> E.U.B. church by the<br />
Rev. Donald ABBEY, with burial to be in the <strong>Fulton</strong> cemetery. Friends may call after noon<br />
Wednesday at the Ditmire funeral home, <strong>Fulton</strong>.<br />
Charles C. Ewen<br />
Robert EWEN, Rochester township, has received word that his brother, Charles C.<br />
EWEN, New Ross, Ind., died Monday at 1:30 p.m. He was 79 years of age. He leaves his widow,<br />
Mrs. Madge EWEN, and one brother here and two brothers in Stanton, Ky.<br />
Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Ewen are former Rochester residents. <strong>The</strong>y have no children.<br />
He will be buried in Rochester with funeral services at New Ross. Arrangements are<br />
incomplete.<br />
Della Miller<br />
Mrs. Clem V. (Della) MILLER, 91, 1104 Main street, died at 12:05 p.m. today at her<br />
home after being in failing health for five years. She had been in serious condition the last three<br />
weeks. <strong>The</strong> body is at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home here, where rites are pending.<br />
Wednesday, February 11, <strong>1959</strong><br />
Della Miller<br />
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for<br />
Mrs. Clem V. (Della) MILLER, 91, who died at 12:-5 p.m.Tuesday at her home, 1104 Main street.<br />
She had been in ill health for five years, seriously for the past three weeks.<br />
Dr. Claude YOUNG of the Grace Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in the<br />
I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.<br />
Mrs. Miller was born in Rochester Dec. 6, 1867, the daughter of Andrew J. and Eliza<br />
STROSNIDER EDWARDS, pioneer residents of the city. She had spent her entire life in this<br />
community.<br />
She was married March 14, 1888, in Rochester to Clem V. MILLER, who died March 16,<br />
1943. Mr. Miller served two terms as county sheriff, was city streets superintendent and also<br />
engaged in farming. During the Depression era of the ‘30s, Mrs. Miller was active as secretary of<br />
the locally-organized relief committee to aid destitute residents.<br />
Surviving are one son, Clarence E. MILLER, Columbus, O., and one niece, Mrs. Charles<br />
F. MEYER, Indianapolis. One sister, Mrs. Alwilda E. BARNHART, died in 1947.
