Tasks:
Walt Whitman utilizes the following means of communicating
with parents:
Marquee, email, phone calls, written notes, community
partners in education, volunteer orientation, School Connects,
PowerSchool parent portal, family literacy nights, PTA, and
Back to School night.
Walt Whitman teachers and staff frequently communicate
through the use of voice mail, phone connects, email, school
website and teacher webpages, and translators as needed to
enhance communication with parents and stakeholders.
1. A parent survey will be created and implemented once a semester to assess parents concerns,
needs, ideas, etc.

comments, concerns, compliments, etc. from all stakeholders.
