De-Accredited Levees – If <strong>the</strong> information established under 44 CFR 65.10 is not readily<br />

available and provided to FEMA, and <strong>the</strong> levee is not eligible for <strong>the</strong> PAL designation, <strong>the</strong> levee<br />

will be de-accredited by FEMA. If a levee is de-accredited, FEMA will evaluate <strong>the</strong> level of risk<br />

associated with each non-accredited levee through <strong>the</strong>ir Levee Analysis Mapping Procedures<br />

(LAMP) criteria to consider how to map <strong>the</strong> floodplain and which areas on <strong>the</strong> dry side of <strong>the</strong><br />

levee will be shown as high risk. The mapping will <strong>the</strong>n be updated to reflect this risk..<br />
