also seek funding sources to<br />

mitigate damage to critical<br />

infrastructure, and seek funding<br />

for various water main<br />

improvement projects. The<br />

Leavenworth County RWD No. 7<br />

provides potable water to <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

customers in Leavenworth<br />

County. Maintaining an adequate,<br />

quality water supply to <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

customers is <strong>the</strong> district's top<br />

priority.<br />

28 Obtain funding for <strong>the</strong> purchase of<br />

mobile backup power generators<br />

for <strong>the</strong> groundwater well facilities<br />

of Leavenworth County Rural<br />

Water District (RWD) 7.<br />

Leavenworth County RWD 7 has<br />

identified a need to quickly restore<br />

power in its groundwater well<br />

facilities in <strong>the</strong> event of a wea<strong>the</strong>r<br />

event and <strong>the</strong> subsequent loss of<br />

power.<br />

29 Suburban Water, Inc. will seek<br />

funding to prepare a written<br />

Emergency Operations Plan to be<br />

used as a resource during <strong>the</strong><br />

initial response to an emergency<br />

event and provide guidance until<br />

all operations affected are back to<br />

normal operation.<br />

30 Suburban Water, Inc. will continue<br />

to assess <strong>the</strong> impact of natural<br />

hazards on its water supplies,<br />

distribution and transmission<br />

systems, storage facilities,<br />

structures and equipment.<br />

Suburban Water, Inc. will also<br />
