waters impacting <strong>the</strong> water wells<br />

utilized by <strong>the</strong> City of Easton.<br />

3 Consider funding options for <strong>the</strong><br />

purchase and installation of a<br />

backup generator for <strong>the</strong> City of<br />

Easton Water Treatment Plant in<br />

<strong>the</strong> event of severe wea<strong>the</strong>r<br />

events. The City of Easton has<br />

identified a need to ensure that<br />

<strong>the</strong> Water Treatment Plant in<br />

Easton maintain power during<br />

severe wea<strong>the</strong>r events, to ensure<br />

<strong>the</strong> quality of <strong>the</strong> water supplied to<br />

<strong>the</strong> city.<br />

4 Consider funding options for <strong>the</strong><br />

purchase and installation of<br />

control valves for <strong>the</strong> City of<br />

Easton Water Treatment Plant<br />

and storage facility in <strong>the</strong> event of<br />

flooding events. The City of<br />

Easton has identified a need to<br />

protect <strong>the</strong> potable water supply<br />

system from flooding events<br />

between <strong>the</strong> city water treatment<br />

plant and storage facility. T<strong>here</strong> is<br />

a concern of contaminates from<br />

flooding resting in <strong>the</strong> supply line.<br />

5 Reduce danger and damage from<br />

repetitive flooding events, as well<br />

as allowing possible annexation of<br />

<strong>the</strong> City of Easton, by developing<br />

a program to acquire residential<br />

and commercial properties in<br />

coordination with FEMA<br />

acquisition programs. T<strong>here</strong> has<br />
