county for <strong>the</strong> purposes of advance<br />

planning, response & warning. For<br />

real-time monitoring to allow /<br />

enhance advance planning, provide<br />

adequate response and give timely<br />

warning to <strong>the</strong> citizens. Currently, <strong>the</strong><br />

local river / stream monitoring is very<br />

inadequate. Survey various<br />

locations and Install several remotely<br />

accessible gages and cameras at<br />

strategic points along <strong>the</strong> Kansas &<br />

Missouri Rivers, Turkey Creek and<br />

o<strong>the</strong>r smaller streams / tributaries<br />

throughout <strong>the</strong> county.<br />

Provide adequate communications<br />

system(s) for Scouts, Scouters and<br />

campers at Boy Scout Camp<br />
