as a storm/emergency shelter for
the citizens of Edwardsville.
However, there is currently no
unmanned fire station located in the
northern portion of the City that can
serve as an emergency operations
center for the city should such an
event occur. Renovation of the
facility, purchase and installation of
necessary equipment to make the
North Fire Station operable for all
services of the city.
