jurisdictions to build infrastructure<br />

power entire building, only certain<br />

Shawnee will work mitigate <strong>the</strong><br />

impacts of a winter storms.<br />

Johnson County experiences<br />

many winter storm events each<br />

year. These can lead to power<br />

outages which impact all levels of<br />

our citizenry. The City of<br />

Shawnee will work with Johnson<br />

County, citizens and businesses<br />

to prepare for winter storm<br />

impacts including power outages.<br />

This will be accomplished via web<br />

based education campaigns,<br />

presentations to citizens, civic<br />

groups, businesses, etc., and<br />

participation with regional partners<br />
