Learning Outcomes / Course Objectives
This first semester personality training workshop will give you a solid introduction to the
broad field of perception, communication and presentation. After two days of intensive
training you will know how to:
� broaden your perception
� create an environment of appreciation
� strengthen your self-confidence
� speak in front of an audience
� introduce yourself in three minutes
� analyze and improve your body language
� give a presentation that will be remembered
� apply the five finger rhetoric
� give and receive quality feedback
� use your voice in a powerful way

Course Description
Knowing how to communicate in an effective and professional way is a must in today's
business world. This workshop will support you in finding your very personal way of
communicating and presenting yourself, speaking in front of an audience, successfully
mastering stressful situations, or even handle a complete blackout. The course is divided
into several theoretical parts and a large number of practical exercises. This training
lecture is going to prepare you for the coming six semesters as well as for a challenging
job in the tourism industry.
