Course Description
The course is designed to help students prepare for the IELTS Academic exam as well as
to obtain a sound level of proficiency (B 2) in the use of English for general purposes.
The course contains a wide range of activities providing practice in reading, writing,
listening and speaking. Word-building and language focus analyzing the main grammar
areas are also included.
Topic related areas are global problems and opportunities, ways of looking at the future
aqnd the world of training and work..

Teaching Concept
The teaching is based on interactive assignments which comprise analysing texts,
recordings and video clippings for illustration and discussion. Work on grammatical and
lexical issues will be mainly dealt with in form of self-study (e-learning)in order to be
revised and checked on in class..
