Self directed learning time will give students the opportunity to prepare for class and
deepen the knowledge acquired in class. I do expect students to discuss topics and to be
interactive. A special focus will be held on presentation skills of students.

Course Description
At the beginning students will be provided with theoretical input on how to conduct and
analyse qualitative research including expert interviews and focus group discussions.
Students will have the opportunity to discuss technical issues related to their work in two
individual coaching sessions.
Depending on the individual requirements the following topics will be covered:
� Help with finding adequate literature
� Structure of the BA paper
� Help with literature review
� Academic Writing
� Citing / Rules for Citations
� Quantitative Data Analyses
� Qualitative Methods
� Preperation for defense of BA Paper
