Formatting the Wave window UM-257<br />

3 Specify the divider name in the Wave Divider Properties dialog. The default name is<br />

New Divider. Unnamed dividers are permitted. Simply delete "New Divider" in the<br />

Divider Name field to create an unnamed divider.<br />

4 Specify the divider height (default height is 17 pixels) <strong>and</strong> then click OK.<br />

You can also insert dividers with the -divider argument to the add wave comm<strong>and</strong> (CR-52).<br />

Splitting Wave window panes<br />

The table below summarizes several actions you can take with dividers:<br />

Action Method<br />

Move a divider Click-<strong>and</strong>-drag the divider to the desired location<br />

Change a divider’s<br />

name or size<br />

Right-click the divider <strong>and</strong> select Divider Properties<br />

Delete a divider Right-click the divider <strong>and</strong> select Delete<br />

The pathnames, values, <strong>and</strong> waveforms panes of the Wave window display can be split to<br />

accommodate signals from one or more datasets. For more information on viewing multiple<br />

simulations, see Chapter 8 - WLF files (datasets) <strong>and</strong> virtuals.<br />

To split the window, select Insert > Window Pane.<br />
