UM-604 E - ModelSim shortcuts ModelSim SE User’s Manual Shortcut Description !n repeats command number n; n is the VSIM prompt number (e.g., for this prompt: VSIM 12>, n =12) !abc repeats the most recent command starting with "abc" ^xyz^ab^ replaces "xyz" in the last command with "ab" up and down arrows scrolls through the command history with the keyboard arrows click on prompt left-click once on a previous ModelSim or VSIM prompt in the transcript to copy the command typed at that prompt to the active cursor his or history shows the last few commands (up to 50 are kept)
