<strong>ModelSim</strong> <strong>SE</strong> User’s <strong>Manual</strong><br />

When you simulate a design with code coverage enabled, coverage data is displayed in the<br />

Main, Source, <strong>and</strong> Objects windows. In the Main window, coverage data displays in five<br />

window panes: Workspace, Missed Coverage, Current Exclusions, Instance Coverage, <strong>and</strong><br />

Details.<br />

The table below summarizes the Main window coverage panes. For further details, see<br />

"Code coverage panes" (GR-116).<br />

Coverage pane Description<br />

Workspace displays coverage data <strong>and</strong> graphs for each design object or file<br />

Missed Coverage displays missed coverage for the selected design object or file<br />

Current exclusions a<br />

lists all files <strong>and</strong> lines that are excluded from the current analysis<br />

Instance coverage displays coverage statistics for each instance in a flat format<br />

Details displays details of missed coverage <strong>and</strong> toggle coverage<br />

a.The Current Exclusions pane does not display by default. Select View > Code Coverage<br />

> Current Exclusions to display the pane.
