Changing the radix can make it easier to view information in the List window. Compare<br />

the image below (with decimal values) with the image on page UM-243 (with symbolic<br />

values).<br />

Aside from the List Signal Properties dialog, there are three other ways to change the radix:<br />

Change the default radix for the current simulation using Simulate > Runtime Options<br />

(Main window)<br />

Change the default radix for the current simulation using the radix comm<strong>and</strong> (CR-241).<br />

Change the default radix permanently by editing the DefaultRadix (UM-531) variable in<br />

the modelsim.ini file.
