6. It was agreed by the two delegations that the ULFA will remove the<br />

Gobarkonda camp in the Manas Wildlife Sanctuary, the Nangri camp in<br />

Pemagatshel District, the Deori camp in Samdrup Jongkhar District and the<br />

Military Training Centre under Matshala Block from Bhutan within December<br />

2001. The ULFA will also reduce the strength of their cadres in their remaining<br />

five camps, namely, the Ninchula Camp in Kalikhola Sub-Division, the<br />

Mangkhar Camp in Nanglam Sub-Division, the Merengphu Camp, the Middle<br />

Zonal Camp and the Pukaptong camp which are under Samdrup Jongkhar<br />

District. Following the implementation of this agreement by the ULFA within<br />

December 2001, the RGOB and the ULFA will meet again to find a solution to<br />

the problem of the remaining five ULFA camps in Bhutan.<br />

The Home Minister summarized the Agreed Minutes as follows:<br />

The ULFA will remove four of the nine camps they have in Bhutan, namely the<br />

Gobarkonda camp in the Manas Wildlife Sanctuary, the Nangri camp in<br />

Pemagatshel Dzongkhag, the Deori camp in Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag and<br />

the military Training Centre under Matshala Geog, within December 2001.<br />

The ULFA will reduce the strength of their cadres in their remaining five<br />

camps, namely the Ninchula camp under Kalikhola, the Mangkhar camp in<br />

Nganglam Dungkhag, the Merengphu camp, the Dingshiri camp and the<br />

Phukaptong camp which are under Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag. The two<br />

sides agreed that, following the implementation of the undertaking given by the<br />

ULFA within December 2001, the Royal Government and the ULFA will meet<br />
