remove four of their camps by December this year in keeping with the agreed
minutes of the meeting held with them. However, if they do not implement the

for a peaceful solution to remove the militants from Bhutanese territory. The
Chimis also requested His Majesty to limit his visits to the high security risk
areas. The long reign and continued leadership of His Majesty the King is of

continued peace and happiness for the Bhutanese people.
The Chukha Dzongda submitted that, as per the resolution of the 78 th Session of
National Assembly, a series of meetings had been convened with the
Government employees, business communities and people in the Dzongkhags to
explain the measures that had been decided to deal with the problem posed by
the militants, and safeguard the security of the country.
In Phuentsholing, the Government employees and business community had
expressed their deep concern over the security threat facing the country and
pledged to protect and ensure the security of Phuentsholing town. The people in
the villages are also deeply concerned over the problem and have pledged to do
everything possible to safeguard the security of the country. They also appealed
to His Majesty the King to cut down the royal visits to the high security risk
areas.
Recognizing the importance of safeguarding the security of the country the
people have called for militia training to be imparted to all able-bodied men. He
