About the author
Dr Moira Byrne works in law and policy in the Australian government, and as an
occasional teaching academic in the School of Politics and International Relations
at Australian National University. A former policy advisor and speechwriter, her
research interests include lobby groups in politics and policy, democracy, and
political communication. With qualifications in theology and economics, she is also
a keen observer of the intersection of religion and politics.
