5. In the Name text box, type your name. In the Organization text box, type your<br />

organization name, and then click Next.<br />

The Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard displays the Your Product Key page.<br />

6. Enter your product key, and then click Next.<br />

The Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard displays the Computer Name And<br />

Administrator Password page.<br />

7. In the Computer Name text box, type the name for your computer.<br />

8. In the Password and Confirm Password text boxes, type a password, and then click Next.<br />

The Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard displays the Modem Dialing Information<br />

page.<br />

Note If you do not have a modem, you might not see this page. If you do not get the<br />

Modem Dialing Information page, skip to Step 13.<br />

9. Select the appropriate setting for What Country/Region Are You In.<br />

10. Type the appropriate setting for What Area Or City Code Are You In.<br />

11. If necessary, type the appropriate setting for If You Dial A Number To Access An<br />

Outside Line, What Is It.<br />

12. Select the appropriate setting for The Phone System At This Location Uses, and<br />

then click Next.<br />

The Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard displays the Date And Time Settings page.<br />

13. Ensure that the settings for Date, Time, Time Zone, and Daylight Saving Changes<br />

are correct, and then click Next.<br />

The Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard displays the Networking Settings page.<br />

14. Ensure that the default setting of Typical Settings is selected, and then click Next.<br />

The Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard displays the Workgroup Or Computer<br />

Domain page.<br />

15. Ensure that No, This Computer Is Not On A Network Or Is On A Network Without<br />

A Domain is selected.<br />

16. Ensure that WORKGROUP appears in the Workgroup Or Computer Domain Box,<br />

and then click Next.<br />

The Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard displays the Performing Final Tasks<br />

page, and then it displays the Completing The Windows XP Setup Wizard page.<br />

17. Click Finish.<br />

The system will reboot, and the Welcome screen appears.<br />

18. Log on as you normally would.
