3. Click Power Options.<br />

Windows XP Professional displays the Power Options Properties dialog box with<br />

the Power Schemes tab active.<br />

4. In the Power Schemes list, select Portable/Laptop.<br />

5. In the Turn Off Monitor box, select After 10 Mins.<br />

6. In the Turn Off Hard Disks box, select After 20 Mins.<br />

7. Click Save As, and then in the Save Scheme text box, type Airplane.<br />

8. Click OK.<br />

You have just created a new power scheme. If you click the arrow at the end of<br />

the Power Scheme box, Airplane is now included in the list of available power<br />

schemes. If you want to use this power scheme, click Apply.<br />

9. Click the Advanced tab and select the Always Show Icon On The Taskbar check box.<br />

10. Click the Hibernate tab.<br />

11. If the Enable Hibernation check box is not selected, select it, and then click Apply.<br />

12. Click the APM tab.<br />

13. If you do not see an APM tab on your computer, what are two reasons why it<br />

might not be there?<br />

14. If the Enable Advanced Power Management Support check box is not selected,<br />

select it, and then click Apply.<br />

15. To apply these changes you would click OK. Click Cancel.<br />

Windows XP Professional closes the Power Options Properties dialog box.<br />

16. Close all open windows.<br />
