5. In the Available Standalone Snap-Ins dialog box, click Resultant Set Of Policy, and<br />

then click Add.<br />

6. Click Close, and then click OK.<br />

In the console window, Windows displays the Resultant Set Of Policy, as shown<br />

in Figure 16-6.<br />

7. Right-click Resultant Set of Policy, and then click Generate RSoP Data.<br />

Windows opens the Resultant Set Of Policy Wizard.<br />

8. On the Welcome page, click Next to continue.<br />

9. On the Mode Selection page, ensure that Logging Mode is selected, and then click<br />

Next.<br />

10. On the Computer Selection page, choose whether you want to display policy settings<br />

for This Computer or for Another Computer. If you want to view settings for<br />

a remote computer, you must enter the name of the remote computer. Click Next<br />

to continue.<br />

11. On the User Selection page, choose whether you want to display policy settings<br />

for the Current User or Another User. Click Next to continue.<br />

12. On the Summary Of Selections page, click Next to proceed.<br />

Windows analyzes the policy settings in effect, and then displays the Completing<br />

The Resultant Set Of Policy Wizard page.<br />

13. Click Finish.<br />

14. In the console window, browse the policy settings to determine the current computer<br />

settings and their source GPOs.
