Acehnese uses words for month, week, year, etc. followed by<br />

a relative clause or a phrase for past time, such as nyang<br />

ka leuoah 'which already past,' diige. 'past time,' etc.<br />

Many adverbs of place are names of places and PP's,<br />

which indicate locations, directions, sources, etc.<br />

[i]. Locational Adverbs. The prepositions which are<br />

used to form locational adverbs are di. 'in, from,' bak 'in,<br />

at, to, from,' dalajn/iam/_IajQa 'in, inside,' ateueh 'on,<br />

above,' rap 'near,' toe 'near,' and some other derived<br />

prepositions formed with di, such as di yup 'under, below,'<br />

di geunirenq 'beside,' etc.<br />
