each form of pronominal clitics of first and second person<br />

subject, except ta-/-teuh 'line' or ' 2 yr'' has only one<br />

reference. Therefore, no ambiguity results when the subject<br />

is omitted from the sentence, neu- '2r' in (70) refers only<br />

to the pronoun droeneuh 'you-, ka- '2y' in (71) refers only<br />

to k__i 'youy,' and -lon '1' in (72) refers only to lon 'I.'<br />

IS - and -teuh are ambiguous only when the speaker and the<br />

person he/she is talking to is addressed with gata 'youyr.'<br />

In such a situation, the full forms of pronouns may<br />

sometimes need to be repeated.<br />

Pronominal clitics of third person subjects always have<br />

more than one reference unless clearly defined by the<br />

context. For this reason, third person subjects cannot be<br />

omitted as easily as those of first and second person. They<br />

can only be omitted in clear context, such as prior mention,<br />
