Very often the verb of the complement of jeuet is<br />

omitted, resulting in a structure in which jeuet is followed<br />

by an NP. However, the omitted verb can always be re­<br />

inserted. Thus, instead of sentence (a), (b) is used for the<br />

same meaning as (a). See also (129), where the verb meu'en<br />

'to play' has been omitted.<br />
