Port Monitoring on C-Series and S-Series
The C-Series and S-Series support multiple source-destination statements in a monitor session, but there
may only be one destination port in a monitoring session (Message 12).
Message 12 One Destination Port in a Monitoring Session Error Message on C-Series and S-Series

The number of source ports FTOS allows within a port-pipe is equal to the number of physical ports in the
port-pipe, but FTOS allows a maximum of four destination ports per port-pipe (Message 13). A source port
may only be monitored by one destination port (Message 14), but a destination port may monitor more
than one source port. Given these parameters, Figure 86 illustrates conceptually the possible port
monitoring configurations on the C-Series and S-Series.
