To enable diagnostics on <strong>the</strong> Route Processor Module (RPM), use <strong>the</strong> following command in <strong>the</strong> EXEC<br />

privilege mode:<br />

diag rpm number [halt | previous | post<br />

| wait]<br />

To view diagnostic results, use <strong>the</strong> show diag rpm number summary command (Figure 32) or <strong>the</strong> show<br />

diag rpm number detail command in <strong>the</strong> EXEC privilege mode.<br />

EXEC privilege Runs diagnostics on <strong>the</strong> RPM specified.<br />

Configure <strong>the</strong> following required and optional<br />

parameters:<br />

number range: 0 to 1<br />

halt: Stops <strong>the</strong> diagnostics. This command can<br />

be entered after <strong>the</strong> diagnostics begin.<br />

previous: Displays <strong>the</strong> previous test results<br />

post: Per<strong>for</strong>ms minimal testing<br />

wait: Prevents autoboot of <strong>the</strong> RPM after <strong>the</strong><br />

diagnostics are complete.<br />

To enable diagnostics on a Switch Fabric Module (SFM), use <strong>the</strong> following command in <strong>the</strong> EXEC<br />

privilege mode:<br />
