Methods <strong>for</strong> Upgrading FPGAs on <strong>the</strong> C-<strong>Series</strong><br />

There are two methods <strong>for</strong> upgrading an FPGA image:<br />

Running version <strong>for</strong> component<br />

Required version <strong>for</strong> component<br />

Upgrade Required<br />

1. Upgrade using <strong>the</strong> FPGA image packed with <strong>the</strong> currently running <strong>FTOS</strong> image. Use <strong>the</strong> command<br />

show os-version to view <strong>the</strong> FPGA images that are packed with <strong>the</strong> <strong>FTOS</strong> image (Figure 509), and<br />

compare it to <strong>the</strong> one that is required using <strong>the</strong> command show revision (Figure 509). If <strong>the</strong>y do not<br />

match, you must upgrade using an image packed with ano<strong>the</strong>r <strong>FTOS</strong> image.<br />

2. Upgrade using an FPGA image packed with an <strong>FTOS</strong> image o<strong>the</strong>r than <strong>the</strong> one that is currently<br />

running.<br />
